Mercy House is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves the needs of women facing a crisis pregnancy. Our clients are unwed teen moms that are facing a crisis and have an urgent need for diapers, formula, clothing, and baby items. Mercy House offers a 'hand-up' not a hand-out' by offering continuing education, professional counseling, referral services and mentoring to the girls which allows them to become independent, self-sufficient women raising their children. Our goal is to open the first "Home" for unwed mothers under the age of 18 in Monroe County by December 2010 in Ida, Michigan. All proceeds from the golf outing will go towards the necessary home renovations needed to open our "Mercy House for Moms".
