Kirlin’s Hallmark supported by the Adams County Illinois chapter of the American Red Cross would like to assist in giving service people overseas the opportunity to send a special gift to their children this year. Each Kirlin’s Hallmark location will be accepting donations to help purchase “The Night Before Christmas” Recordable Storybook to send to soldiers serving overseas. These books allow the service person to record their own voice reading this classic Christmas story, and to send them back to their children at home. Kirlin’s Inc. will accept the financial responsibility of sales tax, shipping and packaging the storybooks. This will give our soldiers the opportunity to give their children a very personal gift and allow them to be a part of their family’s Christmas celebration, even while they are stationed far away.

Children will plunge through rugged waves – and experience the deep, rolling waters of God’s love. They will jump into the Bible story and explore Biblical truths through a cargo of creative experiences. Because God is active in our everyday lives, we will look for evidences of Him with God Sightings. The children will make a BIG difference through our World Vision mission project – Blanketing the World with God’s Love!
Are your kids ready to set sail and enjoy some summer fun? High Seas Expedition is for kids who have completed Kindergarten-5th grade. Space is limited to the first 250 kids who register. This 4 man scramble at Indian Lake Hills in Eau Claire Michigan is to raise funds for Angelo & Cynthia Sebeck. They are going to Osegal, Kenya in October. They will be going with a Special Ministries group out of Zeeland, Michigan. All person going on the trip have to raise their own funds for travel expenses. Angelo & Cynthia's goal is to make the amount needed for traveling expenses but to also be able to donate monies toward the well digging project to bring water to the people of Osegal.
The purpose of this mission trip is to add 2 more rooms onto the existing school house and to build desks to accomodate the growing need for the approximately 500 students who attend the small school. Cynthia along with another nurse will be running a medical clinic in Osegal. All medications, medical and building supplies are either donated or the nurses and others have to raise the funds to pay for the medications and supplies that they will need.While all this building and medical care is happening the Sebeck's pray that they are able to share the gift of God's love with the people in Osegal. Topics will include Creating the Right Environment, Boundaries and Structure, Keeping Good Records, Your First Meeting, and an overview of the SWOMP program.
