You will learn about careers in alternative energy, health care and manufacturing among others from employers, colleges and training facilities. You can attend workshops including “Green jobs coming to Michigan,” “Weather your financial storm,” and “How to start your own business.” Michigan Works! staff will be on hand to critique resumes. A few community service agencies will be available to provide information on help they provide during these tough times.

  Uprise Prayer Revolution
Time/Date:Saturday 3/20/2010 7:00:00 PM    Length: 3 Hours
Description:You may be asking yourself “What's 'Uprise: A Prayer Revolution'?”. The answer is simple; It's an event, a reason for the Church of the Sault to gather together as one, in the name of Jesus, to worship and pray. Prayer predominantly for our city. We truly believe that when God makes a promise, it is forever valid. We believe that when God said: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) He gave that promise with a desire to see it come to pass. God desires to see His people come humbly before Him in prayer and repentance so that He can pour out His blessing. We want to see the Church get on its knees in prayer asking for God’s healing, an outpouring of the Spirit and Revival in this city. Revivals are not a thing of the past. God can and wants to see another Great Awakening among the Church. And since every revival started in prayer, we figure that is a good place to start as well.

He has traveled extensively throughout the USA, singing at churches campmeetings, youth rallies, and other Christian fellowship gatherings. Buddy has a creative and unique flair of writing; his lyrics weave the stories of Christ's love for His people, His grace, and His mercy. Buddy has been writing, singing, and playing songs for over twenty years. His previous recordings, Family Reunion, Little Lamb's Song, I Will Wait, and How Many Memories feature favorite songs for all ages. His song, " Here Kitty, Kitty", which is his interpretation of Daniel in the lion's den, is played extensively on Christian radio. His music reflects various everyday experiences and the personal relationships of people in his life. Buddy's concerts have a friendly, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Through his humor he shows the joy of Christian living while balancing it with spiritual depth. His goal is to comfort the hurting, strengthen the spiritually weak, and to inspire Christian growth.

  A Picture of Calvary
Time/Date:Friday 4/2/2010 7:00:00 PM    Length: 10 Hours
Description:"A Picture of Calvary" is a musical drama that will answer your questions of who Jesus Christ is and why He had to die. We invite you to step back in time with us, back over 2,000 years to the foot of an old rugges cross. As you do you will meet people, not the characters of some fictional story, but real people, as real as you and me, who were a part of that scene so long ago. Some mourned it, but each had a unique response to that Roman cross and the One over whose head the inscription was posted; "This is Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews." So begins "A Picture of Calvary," a powerful program that will challenge you to think about your own respnse to Christ.
